Division
The Industry Division serves as a vital strategic link between all divisions of the National Economic Supply organisation.
The division is organised into three sections:
- Equipment
- Chemicals
- Packaging
Each section maintains watch lists of materials and operating resources, regularly assessing their procurement risks. They develop measures to secure the supply of critical materials and resources during challenging times. Such measures may include industry agreements, delivery contracts and supplementary compulsory stockpiling.

The FONES specialists in the Industry Division are supported by experts from business, industry associations and other government bodies working in a secondary capacity. Together, they cover the entire value chain and make sure that industry can fulfil its crucial role of keeping the country supplied, even when resources are scarce. The external experts contribute a wealth of knowledge and experience. They help assess the supply situation, develop and update intervention measures and, when needed, play a part in putting these strategies into action.
