Crisis management in cooperation with the private sector
The ICT unit coordinates the internal measures of the National Economic Supply and proposes cross‑sector measures to reduce the impact of ICT disruptions.
The ICT division is organised into the following three sections:
- Networks and ICT Infrastructures unit
- Supply Chains unit
- Payment Transactions unit
The specialists of the federal office in the ICT Division of the National Economic Supply (NES) are supported by experts from the private sector (militia), from industry associations, and from specialized administrative offices. Together, they contribute expertise and ensure that ICT-supported processes relevant to the provision of cirtical goods and services can be maintained as effectively as possible in the event of disruptions.
The Federal Office develops the necessary precautionary and intervention measures in collaboration with the militia. In doing so, the participating experts analyse the supply situation, develop and update intervention measures, and, if required, also contribute to their implementation.
